PA speaker reaffirms support for Kashmir

LAHORE:

Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, on Kashmir Solidarity Day paid tribute to the decades-long struggle of the Kashmiri people and reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering political and diplomatic support for their right to self-determination.

In his message, Speaker Khan described Kashmir as the "jugular vein of Pakistan," saying that the region holds a special place in the hearts of all Pakistanis and that support for the Kashmiri cause will continue at every level.

He highlighted the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs, who have given their lives to keep the movement for self-determination alive, and praised the resilience of the Kashmiri people, who have bravely resisted Indian oppression for over seven decades.
