Reports indicate that Fawad Khan is set to make a return to Bollywood, starring alongside Vaani Kapoor in an upcoming film.
The yet-untitled project will be filmed entirely in the UK, as reported by Indian media. The Hindi romantic-comedy will be directed by Aarti Bagdi.
"Fawad Khan has a massive international pull given his popularity among South Asians worldwide. He has also been a part of the Marvel cinematic universe. Details of this project are being kept under wraps, and everyone is tight-lipped about it." The report added.
"The romantic comedy narrates the story of how two broken people meet by a stroke of luck and end up helping each other, unintentionally falling in love."
Fawad Khan, known for his roles in "Khoobsurat" and "Kapoor & Sons," discussed industry politics in a previous interview with Ahmad Ali Butt. The "Zindagi Gulzar Hai" actor commented, "I got a lot of love from India, but every industry has its politics. It's easier to combat in your own country. I'm not saying it's unheard of, I'm sure it happens everywhere."
Khan is also set to appear in the series "Barzakh," reuniting with his "Zindagi Gulzar Hai" co-star Sanam Saeed. Additionally, he, along with Mahira Khan and Sanam Saeed, will star in Netflix's first Pakistan-themed original, "Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo," an adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq's bestselling novel.
Meanwhile, Vaani Kapoor, known for her roles in "Shuddh Desi Romance," "Befikre," and "Bell Bottom," will next be seen in films like "Khel Khel Mein" and "Badtameez Gill."
