Grandmother of victim dies of shock

DIJKOT:

A 12-year-old boy was abducted, raped and killed in the Samundri Saddar area. The victim’s grandmother was so distraught over the tragedy that she passed away from shock.

The police have taken four suspects into custody and are conducting investigations.

A police spokesman stated that, the twelve-year-old son of Abdul Sattar, a resident of Chak 170GB, was playing outside his house on June 10 when he was kidnapped and subsequently raped.

The perpetrators murdered the victim and dismembered his body before disposing of it in a canal in Samundri.

The police recovered the body and handed it over to the family after the necessary legal procedures.

“The loss was too much for child’s 70-year-old grandmother, Sabran Bibi, who stopped eating and drinking due to shock and grief. She died yesterday,” addd the spokesman.

The Samundri Saddar police have detained and interrogated four suspects, Farooq, Ali, Imran, and Naveed alias Neda, all residents of the same village, who reportedly confessed to the crime.

They were quoted by police officials as saying that the child had been taken to a cemetery where he was gang-raped and murdered with ice cutters.
