KARACHI:

The Sindh Health Department has launched a targeted vaccination campaign until July 13 following the recent confirmation of a polio case in District Keamari. All the children below the age of five in the district will be administered polio shots during the campaign.

A three-year-old girl was recently paralysed by the poliovirus in Keamari, triggering the need for a targeted vaccination drive for those below-five children who have not previously received shots.
