KARACHI:

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Tuesday refuted the news reports circulating on social media about the sale of the Karachi airport.

According to a CAA spokesperson, false rumours have been circulating on social media websites since Monday about the secret sale of the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

The spokesperson described these reports as baseless and untrue.

“The Karachi airport is completely under the administration of the CAA,” the spokesperson added.
