A team from the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) commenced a four-day security assessment of Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Tuesday.

Last week, the GCAA team evaluated security measures at Islamabad International Airport.

The two-member delegation, led by Abdullah Al Kaabi, Senior Director of Avsec Affairs, arrived in Karachi for the comprehensive assessment, according to a statement by the Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA).

"Over the next four days, the team will inspect the implementation of various security measures at the airport, focusing particularly on flights to the UAE," the CAA stated.

The assessment is part of ongoing collaborative efforts between the GCAA and CAA to improve aviation security standards in Pakistan.
