Armed assailants launched a deadly attack on a house in Turbat, Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including a woman and a child, and leaving one person injured, according to Levies officials on Monday.

The attack in the Kech district involved both gunfire and a bomb explosion. "Three people, including a woman and a child, were killed, and one person was injured in the attack," Levies officials reported.

Balochistan's Interior Minister, Mir Ziaullah Langove, strongly condemned the attack and expressed his sorrow over the loss of the woman and child's lives. He has called for a report on the incident from the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Turbat.

"The targeting of innocent children and women in this act of terrorism is extremely cowardly. We stand with the grieving family in this time of sorrow. The perpetrators who killed innocent and helpless people will soon face justice," Langove stated.

He urged human rights organisations to speak out against the brutal killing of women and children, emphasising that those involved in such acts of terrorism deserve no leniency.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed deep regret over the deaths in the explosion, stating, "The loss of precious human lives in this tragic incident is heart-wrenching. The hands stained with innocent blood will soon be caught by the law."

Meanwhile, the Awami National Party (ANP) condemned the bomb attack and the deaths of women and children, stating that the terrorists aim to spread fear among the public.

"Targeting innocent and defenceless citizens is unacceptable in any religion. Those involved in such acts are enemies of humanity," an ANP spokesperson said. "The government and relevant agencies must deal with these elements with an iron hand and set an example of them."
