Mae Whitman reveals pregnancy progress with new photos: 'I am huge'

The 'Parenthood' actress shares updates and babymoon highlights as she nears her due date.

Mae Whitman, known for her role in 'Parenthood,' is enjoying the last few weeks of her pregnancy in Laguna Beach. 

The actress shared a series of photos on Instagram on Sunday, June 30, showing moments from her recent babymoon in the scenic California beach town.

In the Instagram post, the 36-year-old 'Good Girls' star included images of herself lying on a bed with her baby bump exposed, and posing in a colourful blue and green plaid shirt.

Other photos featured the ocean, a breakfast tray, and videos of a record player in her hotel room, as well as clips from a Third Eye Blind concert she attended.

Whitman captioned the post: "8 month update I am huge and achy but happy especially because we got to take a wee 'babymoon' god help me to Laguna for a couple days and stayed at the loveliest chicest place @hoteljoaquin."

She described the relaxing aspects of her trip, saying she "ate granola and floated my belly in the warm pool and the lovely salty seawater and fell asleep to the waves crashing and it was rly rly such a nice weekend."

The actress ended the post on a high note: "We capped it off by seeing my main mens [sic] @thirdeyeblind thereby fulfilling all my teenage dreams. That’s it."

Whitman's 'The Duff' co-star Robbie Amell commented on her post, expressing his excitement: "Pregnant Mae is a f------ awesome Mae, I bet."

Whitman first announced her pregnancy on Mother's Day, May 12, with an Instagram post featuring throwback photos with some of her former 'Parenthood' co-stars, including Lauren Graham and Miles Heizer. 

She captioned that post: "Mother’s Day looking a little different this year! 🤰🏼. Can’t wait to meet you, huge baby kicking my insides to filth! #ruveal."
