The cast of the Netflix rom-com "A Family Affair" enjoyed plenty of laughs on set, as revealed in new behind-the-scenes footage.

Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman, who play the leads, showcased their camaraderie with co-star Joey King in a clip shared by Efron on Instagram on Friday, June 28, to mark the film’s release.

The clip captures a light-hearted moment where Efron, 36, and Kidman, 57, couldn't stop laughing as King performed a humorous stunt.

In the film, Efron plays famous actor Chris Cole, while Kidman portrays Brooke, the mother of Cole’s personal assistant, Zara, played by King.

As Efron recorded the scene, King screamed, hit the doorframe, and fell to the floor, causing Efron and Kidman to burst into laughter behind the camera.

Efron turned the camera on himself, saying through his laughter, “Let’s go!” Kidman, giving a thumbs up, added, “That’s my girl!” Efron humorously noted that King “does all her own stunts.”

In the comments, King's stunt work received praise from her co-star Liza Koshy, who wrote, “No floor pad, NOTHIN. Raw dawg.”

Efron told PEOPLE that "A Family Affair" is not just funny but also “romantic and entertaining.” The film marks a reunion for Efron and Kidman, who previously starred together in the 2012 thriller "The Paperboy." Reflecting on working with Kidman again, Efron shared that he felt similar jitters as when he was a young actor but praised her as kind, caring, and wonderful to work with.

Joey King also spoke highly of Kidman, describing her as "iconic" and expressing her gratitude for working with such a talented actress.

King enjoyed a dynamic working relationship with Efron, stating that neither was afraid of messing up because they were having fun exploring what worked.

"A Family Affair" is now available for streaming on Netflix.
