Germany beats Denmark 2-0 to secure Euro 2024 quarterfinal spot

Kai Havertz scored penalty in second half, followed by Jamal Musiala's curling strike

The UEFA EURO 2024 Round of 16 match between Germany and Denmark resumed after a suspension due to heavy rain at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.

Germany managed to secure a 2-0 victory over Denmark. Kai Havertz converted a penalty in the second half. Jamal Musiala then sealed the win with a curling strike.

Yesterday, Switzerland advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Italy 2-0 at Berlin's Olympiastadion.

Vargas himself doubled Switzerland's lead with a curling effort early in the second half​.

Switzerland will now face the winner of the England vs. Slovakia match, which is set to take place on July 6​.
