Mother and daughter rescued in Liaqatpur after being walled in by relatives

Police safely rescued victims, transferred them to hospital for medical attention

The local police in Liaqatpur took action and rescued a mother and daughter who were locked in a room and barricaded with a solid wall due to a domestic dispute.

Police spokesperson reported that the incident took place in House No. 5 of Liaquatpur, where the nephews confined their aunt and her daughter after locking them in a room and sealing the door with a sturdy wall.

The nephews had fled after locking the mother and daughter inside the house.

Local residents informed Police Assistance 15, leading to the arrival of the police from B Section. They broke down the wall and safely rescued the mother and daughter, transferring them to the hospital for medical attention.

The mother and daughter had been imprisoned a day earlier.

The identities of the women have been confirmed as Masooma Tasleem, where the wife of Abdul Haq and his daughter Dua's name were involved. When the police arrived in the area, the central door of the house was locked from the outside.

According to police, raids are being carried out for the arrest of the suspects involved in the incident.
