Jimmy Kimmel recently shared his experience at a star-studded party hosted by Paul McCartney, revealing to Howard Stern on June 26 that the event was attended by numerous celebrities. According to Kimmel, notable guests included Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Bruce Springsteen, Steven Spielberg, Mick Jagger, Jennifer Aniston, and Courteney Cox.
Kimmel explained the impromptu nature of their attendance: “We were invited to a dinner that night, and then the host of the dinner got invited to that party [at Paul McCartney’s house] and said, ‘Why don’t we all go to the party?’ And so we went to the party.” Addressing rumors about Swift DJing the event, Kimmel clarified, “She simply had her iPhone and tapped into the house system, but it wasn't like she was hired to work there.”
When asked by Stern if Swift attended with Kelce, Kimmel confirmed, “Yes, indeed!” with his wife, Molly McNearney, adding, “He’s very good-looking.”
Kimmel recounted the surreal atmosphere of the event, noting, “People were dancing in the kitchen, including Molly.” He humorously admitted to Stern that he didn't interact with Mick Jagger, saying, “I think what you do at a party like that is you gravitate toward the people you already know and say, ‘Can you believe this is happening and that we’re here?’”
McNearney mentioned her relief at seeing Aniston and Cox, with whom she spent time. She described the overwhelming experience, stating, “I didn’t know how to hold my body. I didn’t know where to look. I didn’t know what to do. It was like one more famous person after another.”
Kimmel did have a conversation with Springsteen, describing him as “funny” and noting they talked about Elvis and L.A. He quoted Springsteen, saying, “This is some party!” when discussing the event's atmosphere.
The couple also shared that they tried to convince Cox to dance on stage with Springsteen at his Los Angeles show, referencing her iconic appearance in his 1984 "Dancing in the Dark" music video. When asked if they spoke to Swift, Kimmel confirmed he did, while McNearney was talking with Spielberg's wife, Kate Capshaw.
Robin Quivers, Stern’s co-host, humorously remarked on the gathering of such prominent figures, joking, “My God, how did Mount Rushmore survive that night, with all these heads off of it?”
