His romantic ventures began with Canadian author Justine Wilson, whom he married in January 2000 after their initial meeting at Queens University in Canada.

The couple welcomed five children before their relationship concluded in 2008. Musk then found love with actress Talulah Riley; they experienced a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship that included two marriages and two divorces, ultimately parting ways for good in 2016. 

Riley has since remarried, tying the knot with "Love Actually" star Thomas Brodie-Sangster in June 2024.

Musk's quest for companionship didn’t end there. 

He was briefly involved with actress Amber Heard after her split from Johnny Depp, a relationship that lasted from late 2016 to 2018. 

Soon after, he began a relationship with singer Grimes. The couple first became parents to a son, X Æ A-Xii, in May 2020, and later welcomed a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, via surrogate. After a brief separation and reconciliation, they had another son, Techno Mechanicus, but separated again in 2022.

In another discreet affair, Musk was linked to Australian actress Natasha Basset after she was seen leaving his private jet in February 2022. 

They were spotted together several times, including at a screening of "Elvis" in France, though their relationship was never officially confirmed.

Simultaneously, Musk planned a family with Shivon Zilis, a subordinate and long-time friend, resulting in twins in 2022, followed by a third child two years later. 

Reports indicate the twins were conceived via IVF, without any romantic involvement.

As of June 2024, Elon Musk's current romantic ties remain a mystery, keeping both the public and media in a state of perpetual fascination with his elaborate personal life.
