Tamayo Perry, known for his roles in "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Blue Crush," and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," sky news reported, died on Sunday, June 23, following a shark attack near Goat Island in Hawaii. The 49-year-old actor also worked as a safety lifeguard and surfing instructor.

The incident occurred off Oahu's North Shore. According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, Perry was attacked by a shark while in the water. A witness saw the attack and promptly alerted emergency services. Officials arrived quickly and transported Perry to shore on a jet ski. Despite their efforts, Perry was pronounced dead on the beach, having suffered multiple shark bites.

Following the attack, Ocean Safety officials issued shark warnings in the area. Perry had been working as a lifeguard on the North Shore since joining the Ocean Safety Department in July 2016

Perry's death is a significant loss to both the local community and the entertainment industry. His contributions as a lifeguard were highly valued, and his roles in popular films made him a recognizable figure. The shark attack underscores the ongoing risks associated with marine activities in Hawaii, despite the relatively low frequency of such incidents.
