Fresh details have emerged regarding Princess Anne’s recent hospital admission following a walking accident on her Gloucestershire estate.

The Princess Royal, 73, was admitted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol after suffering minor injuries and a concussion. Buckingham Palace has now confirmed that she is in the hospital "as a precautionary measure for observation" but is expected to make a full and swift recovery.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday evening at her Gatcombe Park Estate, left many concerned. While the exact circumstances remain unclear, her medical team believes the injuries are consistent with a potential impact from a horse's head or legs. Due to her concussion, the precise details are still uncertain, according to The Daily Express.

Emergency services were dispatched to the estate, and Anne received initial medical care at the scene before being transferred to the hospital. Her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, was by her side throughout. It has also been revealed that her children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, were on the estate at the time of the incident.
