Armed suspects took away Rs1.2 million in cash, four tolas of gold, laptops, and mobile phones during a robbery at a house in Afghan, Gulshan-e-Maymar, on Saturday night.
A case was registered at the Gulshan-e-Maymar police station on the complaint of the house owner, Haji Hussain.
He stated in the complaint that a man intruded into his house on the night between Friday and Saturday by scaling the wall and opening the outer door.
Once inside, eight to 10 more armed men entered, tied up the family, and locked them in a room. The suspects then broke open a cupboard and fled with Rs1.2 million, 4 tolas of gold, a laptop, and mobile phones.
