Bag with hand grenade found

KARACHI:

The police found a hand grenade, a rusted rifle with cartridge, and a box of bullets from a plastic bag near a garbage dump in Orangi Town.

Area SHO, Jamal Laghari, stated that passersby informed about the suspicious plastic bag lying in the area.

On which they reached the spot and called the bomb disposal squad who defused the hand grenade and handed it over to the police for investigation.

The police have registered a case on behalf of the state.
