Perpetrators flee scene while police along with Rescue 1122 teams reach spot

Three people were gunned down over an old enmity, in the limits of Bhulwal city police station on Friday.

Police said 30-year-old Mudassir, 33-year-old Manzar Ali, 32-year-old Javed and 34-year-old Athar residents of Dhori area Bhulwal were returning home after a court appearance when armed motorcyclists intercepted them newt Chak 5 Lakar Mandi, Railway Station area.

The culprits opened indiscriminate fire at them, resulting in the death of Mudassir, Manzar and Javed. Meanwhile, Athar sustained serious bullet injuries.

The perpetrators fled the scene while police along with Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and shifted the victims to a hospital.

Taking notice of the triple-murder incident, Regional Police Officer Sargodha Sharuk Kamal Siddiqui directed the police officials to arrest the culprits at the earliest.
