Justin Timberlake recently sold his 127-acre Tennessee property for $2 million less than the original asking price, just weeks before his DWI arrest on Monday.

The pop star sold the undeveloped estate for $8 million in May, down from the initial $10 million asking price, according to records seen by The U.S. Sun.

Timberlake had purchased the site in a picturesque village outside of Nashville for $4 million in 2015 and listed it for $10 million this past August.

This sale comes as Timberlake struggles to sell the remaining tickets for his global tour. Announced on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show in January, the Forget Tomorrow World Tour has seen sluggish ticket sales, with thousands still available for his next four dates in Chicago and New York.

The Cry Me A River singer is scheduled to perform at the United Center in Chicago and then move on to Madison Square Garden for two gigs.

However, Ticketmaster's seating maps indicate high ticket availability, with many sections still unsold for all four shows.

The tour is set to move to Europe next month, with stops in Poland, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and France. According to Timberlake’s website, none of these dates have sold out in any country.

Despite slow sales, it has been reported that the Forget Tomorrow World Tour has already amassed $140 million.

However, some of this revenue could be at risk if tour dates are scrapped following his recent arrest.

Timberlake was arrested and booked for DWI. As he was being detained, Timberlake mentioned his tour to the arresting officer, expressing concern that the incident could ruin his tour.

"This is going to ruin the tour," the former NSYNC member said as he was placed under arrest, according to The Standard.

The young officer, who reportedly did not recognize Timberlake, asked him what tour he was referring to. "The world tour," Timberlake replied.

A source told The U.S. Sun that Timberlake has since apologized to his tour team and assured them that none of the dates will be canceled.

In addition to his recent legal troubles, Timberlake has faced other challenges in recent years. In 2019, he publicly apologized to his wife, Jessica Biel, after being caught on camera cozying up to his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans.

“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” Timberlake wrote in a public Instagram story apology. “A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my co-star.”

“I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son,” he continued.

“I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office confirmed that Timberlake will appear virtually for a court hearing on July 26 regarding his recent arrest.
