Henry Cavill is over the moon to be expecting his first child with his pregnant girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso. The actor, 41, took to Instagram to share the exciting news, writing "Oh yeah…..and Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there... Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips??"

Cavill and Viscuso, an executive at Vertigo Entertainment, have been together since 2021 and announced their pregnancy three years later. The couple is currently producing a film adaptation of the tabletop game Warhammer 40,000, and Cavill has been vocal about his excitement to bring the franchise to life on the big screen.

In a separate post, Cavill shared a selfie of himself sitting in the baby's nursery, where a wood crib and matching changing table had been set up. Cavill sported a plaid button-down as he lounged in a white rocking chair, looking every bit the expectant father.

The Witcher alum has been gushing about his upcoming fatherhood on social media, even joking about setting up a Warhammer-themed nursery for his child. "And don’t worry, pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scapels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures," he wrote.

Cavill and Viscuso frequently share their love and excitement for each other and their projects on social media. In a previous post, Cavill wrote about his dream of bringing a Warhammer Cinematic Universe to life, saying "For 30 years I have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action... Now, after 22 years of experience in this industry, I finally feel that I have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe into life."
