Céline Dion shares feelings while presenting Taylor Swift with the Album of the Year Grammy

"I Am: Céline Dion" will be available for streaming on Prime Video from June 25.

When Céline Dion reappeared at the Grammys in February to bestow the evening's top award upon Taylor Swift, she was deeply moved.

"It was an honor for me that they thought of me to present to Taylor Swift. It was [her] fourth [time] winning this award, which is exceptional," Dion tells PEOPLE exclusively in its latest cover story.

Accompanied by her son René-Charles, 23, on stage, the 56-year-old songstress found solace in his presence, which aided in maintaining her composure.

"It was going to be my first time [back at the Grammys], and I didn't want to feel wobbly. I was going to be very, very nervous and happy at the same time," says Dion, who can enter a stiff-person syndrome crisis episode if her brain is overstimulated. "The applause... am I going to have a shock by seeing [the audience]? I didn't want anything bad to happen."

Following her diagnosis with SPS in August of 2022, Dion, who chronicles her health battle in a forthcoming documentary titled "I Am: Céline Dion" (available for streaming worldwide on Prime Video starting June 25), reveals that she has predominantly remained at home, clad in her coziest sweat attire, as she undergoes treatment.

"Now I have heels and a dress that has a big opening on the leg, and I'm not sure if my legs are ready at that time," she recalls of the Grammys. "It was a lot."

Receiving a standing ovation from the audience, Dion felt welcomed.
