Eilish expressed her frustration with feeling the need to constantly explain and defend herself against rumours and misunderstandings. She found that trying to justify herself only made things worse, leading her to prematurely share things she wasn't even fully confident about.

"It's so f---ing scary, because everything is written in stone," Eilish lamented.
