Sharjeel invites Qatari investment in Sindh

Qatar’s Consul General Naif Shaheen met with Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon at his office on Thursday and discussed Pakistan-Qatar bilateral relations, cultural harmony, and matters of mutual interests.

Consul General Naif Shaheen expressed his appreciation for the hospitality of Pakistan, particularly the people of Sindh, and said that Qatar feels like a homeland for Pakistanis.

Senior Minister Sharjeel extended an invitation to the Qatari envoy to invest in Sindh, highlighting the numerous investment opportunities available in the province. He highlighted the potential for investment in various sectors, especially transport.

Sharjeel welcomed the prospect of a Qatari delegation visiting Sindh to explore these opportunities further. He assured that the Sindh government would provide full support and a safe environment for Qatari investors.

Sharjeel also presented the traditional Sindhi Ajrak and Topi as a souvenir to Consul General Shaheen, who in turn presented a souvenir to the minister.
