Meghan Markle’s once-glamorous social circle is reportedly dwindling, according to former royal butler Paul Burrell.

The former ‘Suits’ actress, who used to frequently associate with top-tier celebrities, is said to be losing many of her high-profile friends. Burrell, who previously served Princess Diana, claims that her celebrity pals are "dropping like flies."

In an interview with Closer!, Burrell stated, “Harry and Meghan’s circle is getting smaller and smaller. I think the A-list stars are dropping like flies. Some already have done - Oprah no longer seems involved with them and some other celebrities have also dropped them.” He observed that the couple's popularity has decreased since their wedding, adding, “Back in the day, the A-listers were riding on the moment - Harry and Meghan were the most popular couple in the country at one time, but there’s since been a decline.”

These comments come after Meghan and Prince Harry were absent from the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster, an event considered the "social event of the year." Prince William attended the wedding, along with many other notable figures. According to Burrell, celebrities such as George and Amal Clooney, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, have recently turned down invitations from the Sussexes. There are also rumours of a rift with David and Victoria Beckham.

However, Meghan has formed a close circle of friends who continue to support her. Among those who have shown support for her new venture, American Riviera Orchard, are actress Abigail Spencer, fashion designer Tracy Robbins, and Delfina Blaquier, the wife of Argentinian polo player Nacho Figueras. Her product launch featured limited edition jam jars, which her friends proudly shared online.
