In response to increasing questions about the Pakistan Cricket Team, the PCB has released the monthly salary details for the national squad members.
The PCB has shared the updated monthly salary details for the national squad members, reflecting significant increases across all categories.
Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan are classified under Category A, each earning a monthly salary of Rs4.5 million.
Category B includes players such as Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, who earn up to Rs3 million per month.
In categories C and D, monthly salaries range from Rs750,000 to Rs1.5 million. Imad Wasim is categorised under category C, while Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Saim Ayub fall under category D.
Additionally, players receive fixed match fees and match awards for all three formats, which contribute to their overall earnings.
The new contracts issued by PCB have resulted in a substantial salary increase:
- Category A: 200% increase
- Category B: 144% increase
- Category C: 135% increase
- Category D: 127% increase
These updates come as the PCB responds to growing scrutiny of the Pakistan Cricket Team by making financial details transparent.
