Prince William shared Prince Louis' tip for a successful day—eating a double-sized breakfast—during a good luck speech for the England soccer team.
According to Sky Sports, the Prince of Wales met with the England men's football squad in preparation for the Euro 2024 tournament on Monday. As the FA president, he visited St George's Park in Burton-upon-Trent to wish the 26 players luck and present them with their shirts. Manager Gareth Southgate welcomed the prince as the team prepared to travel to Germany for the Euros.
During a motivational speech, the prince shared, "I was on the school run this morning with the children and I said 'What shall I say to the England team today?' The best bit of advice I got [for] you was to eat twice the amount you normally would eat. So I then had visions of all of you running around with massive great tummies and loads of stitches on the pitch so I think maybe take my youngest's advice with a pinch of salt."

The prince shook hands with Southgate, commenting that "in a few hours" the squad would be "getting ready to go" to Germany, Sky Sports reports.
The team is set to play Serbia in their first match on Sunday, followed by matches against Denmark and Slovenia next week.
Schoolchildren from the Midlands attended a football festival at St George's Park to celebrate England's send-off. The prince and Southgate planned to watch some friendly matches and meet the young participants.
Half of the squad from the World Cup in Qatar 18 months ago will not be traveling to Germany. The UEFA Euro 2024 tournament begins in Germany on Friday.
