Natalie Portman expresses gratitude to her friends on her birthday.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, June 9, the 43-year-old actress acknowledged her friends' support, especially amid her divorce from Benjamin Millepied in February.
Portman shared a series of photos featuring moments with her friends, she captioned,
“This year, on my birthday, I want to celebrate my gratitude for my friends who lift me up again and again.”
The images capture various occasions, including gatherings at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival's afterparty and the Dior Fall-Winter 2023-2024 show in Paris.
Portman's remarks follow a challenging period for the actress following her split from her former spouse Millepied.
In July 2023, Portman discreetly initiated divorce proceedings against Millepied following allegations of his involvement in an extramarital affair in May 2023.
The divorce was officially concluded seven months later in France, where the couple resides. A representative for Portman confirmed the details to People magazine at that time.
