Gag order prevents Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari from speaking about her on The Traitors

In a new Peacock competition series, Sam will be competing alongside Chrishell Stause, Tom Sandoval and Boston Rob.

Sam Asghari can't rely on his status as Britney Spears' most recent ex-husband to maintain his relevance in his new role on "The Traitors." 

According to TMZ, while filming the Peacock competition series, Sam is essentially under a gag order regarding Britney, meaning he's prohibited from saying anything negative or positive about her.

Our sources indicate that Britney clearly wants Sam to remain completely silent about her.

As previously mentioned, Sam will be competing alongside Chrishell Stause, Tom Sandoval, "Survivor" star Rob "Boston Rob" Marino, and professional wrestler Nikki Garcia, among others.

Regardless, it would be surprising for Sam to openly criticize his ex-wife, given that he hasn't done so thus far, despite their widely covered divorce, which was finalized last month.

Each time he's brought her up, it's been in a positive light. Last fall, during an interview with TMZ about her memoir "The Woman in Me," he expressed admiration, stating he was "freaking proud" of her for sharing her life in the book. 

He added, “That made me smile, to be honest… I hope she takes over the world.”
