Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, a multimedia exhibition featuring over 300 of Vincent van Gogh's paintings, is set to captivate art enthusiasts in Birmingham NEC.
In addition to the mesmerising display of swirling images and accompanying music, the exhibition will offer a series of special yoga sessions, allowing participants to engage in movement and mindfulness within the vibrant artistic environment.
These limited-availability yoga sessions are anticipated to sell out quickly, so early booking is recommended. The 50-minute sessions will cater to all levels of experience and include breath awareness, a warm-up, and a series of simple postures designed to complement the surrounding artwork. Participants can expect to engage in tabletop postures, low lunges, mountain pose, tree pose, triangle pose, warrior pose, Sphinx pose, and seated forward folds.
The exhibition will premiere in the UK at ACC Liverpool from June 27 to July 24, followed by a run at Glasgow's SEC before arriving in Birmingham. The Birmingham show will run from Thursday, August 1 to Sunday, September 1, 2024, with yoga sessions taking place on Saturday mornings. This 40,000 sq ft exhibition is set to be the largest Van Gogh show ever staged in the city. Tickets for the special yoga sessions range from £36.30 to £39.60 and include access to the entire immersive experience.
