Elsa Pataky revealed her initial doubts about her marriage to Chris Hemsworth in a candid interview from 2018 that has recently resurfaced. The couple, who were set up by their agent in 2010, wed within just three months—a whirlwind romance that defied the odds to solidify their love and grow together.

In an interview with Vogue Australia, Pataky, 47, shared, "It was beautiful in the beginning. When I met him, he wasn't known at all and I grew with him and experienced all his successes and changes, and then he became just so huge and I've been sharing that too."

Pataky discussed the challenges of transitioning from obscurity to fame while managing the pressures of marriage and raising children. "We did everything very quickly—I don't know how we survived as a couple. We were married and then a year after we had kids," she said. "It puts a lot of pressure on a marriage, but we came out good because there is a lot of love between us and we are very strong personalities but love each other so much. We make it work."

Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has also spoken about their instant connection. "From the first time we met, we just made sense," he said.

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named India, in May 2012. In March 2014, their family expanded with the birth of twin boys, Sasha and Tristan. The Hemsworths have since settled in the coastal town of Byron Bay, making it their permanent home in 2014.

Hemsworth reflected on the challenges of their early years in a 2017 interview with GQ Magazine. "My wife and I fell in love, had kids, didn't really see each other for a few years, then fell back in love," he said, acknowledging the strain of balancing a burgeoning career with family life.
