Adele, a staunch advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, made headlines after confronting a concert goer who shouted, "Pride sucks," during her performance
On June 1, at the Las Vegas Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which happened to align with the start of Pride month, footage captures Adele, seated at the piano, halting her performance to address the individual.
"Did you just come to my show and say that Pride sucks?" she asked, pointing emphatically. "Are you f****** stupid?"
"Don't be f****** ridiculous," she continued, to the cheers of supportive fans in the background.
This incident is not an isolated one for the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, who has consistently shown her solidarity with the queer community.
In 2016, in the aftermath of the tragic shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, Adele expressed her support during a performance in Belgium, dedicating the entire show to those affected.
"The LGBTQ community, they're like my soulmates since I was really young, so I'm very moved by it," she stated at the time.
Additionally, Adele demonstrated her commitment to LGBTQ+ causes in 2011 by performing at Pride in London, free of charge.
