Terri Irwin on Steve Irwin “I totally got my happily ever after,” not interested in dating
Terri Irwin, the widow of the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, recently shared her contentment with life and her lack of interest in pursuing a new romantic relationship. In an interview with Us Weekly ahead of the annual Steve Irwin Gala, the 59-year-old conservationist affirmed that she had already found her "happily ever after" with Steve.
Terri expressed that while she admires the premise of shows like "The Golden Bachelor," she sees herself more as a producer than a contestant. She fondly reflected on her 14-year marriage to Steve, acknowledging the unique bond they shared and her acceptance of life without him.
Despite her disinterest in dating, Terri emphasised her commitment to continuing Steve's legacy in wildlife conservation alongside their children, Bindi and Robert. She believes Steve would be proud of their efforts to carry on his passion for protecting animals and the environment.
Terri recalled a conversation with Steve where he expressed his desire to have children who would share their passion for wildlife and conservation. She believes his dream has come true through their children's dedication to their shared mission.
In November, the Irwin family honoured Steve's memory on Steve Irwin Day with heartfelt tributes on social media, highlighting his significant impact on wildlife conservation and their lives.
