Singer Sean Kingston was arrested in California on Thursday following a raid on his Florida home. The "Eenie Meenie" singer, whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson, was taken into custody near Fort Irwin, an Army base northeast of Los Angeles, on a warrant for numerous fraud and theft charges.

Earlier in the day, Kingston's 14,000-square-foot mansion in Southwest Ranches, Florida, was raided by authorities. While the singer was not present during the raid, his mother, Janice Turner, was taken into custody on similar charges.

Kingston, 34, addressed the incident on social media, stating that his lawyers were handling the matter. The arrest is reportedly connected to an ongoing legal dispute with Ver Ver Entertainment, which accused him of fraud in a February lawsuit.

The singer will be booked into jail in San Bernardino, California. His representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
