Chris Hemsworth received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, joined by his wife Elsa Pataky and twin sons Sasha and Tristan for the momentous occasion. The Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star, 40, beamed as he posed with his family on the iconic walkway on Thursday, May 23.

Hemsworth's achievement comes less than two years after he publicly shared his increased risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. He learned of his genetic predisposition while filming the Disney+ docu series Limitless, prompting him to consider stepping back from acting. This news sparked widespread rumours of his retirement, which Hemsworth clarified were exaggerated.

He told Entertainment Tonight in 2023 that he wanted to take a break to spend more time with his family and reflect on his life. However, in a recent Vanity Fair interview, he expressed frustration over the media's sensationalised portrayal of his health concerns.

Despite the challenges, Hemsworth remains active in his career and can be seen in the new film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult.
