One day after announcing their streaming platform, 2nd Try, the Try Guys released an emotional video titled ‘Love, Eugene,’ marking Eugene Lee Yang's final appearance.

The 18-minute video, uploaded on May 23, features Eugene discussing his departure, his internet journey, and future plans. Zach and Keith join him for a heartfelt farewell.

Lee’s final Try Guys video follows a May 22 announcement by Zach and Keith about upcoming platform changes, hinting at Eugene’s departure and promising a detailed explanation.

The Try Guys, originally formed at BuzzFeed by Zach Kornfeld, Keith Habersberger, Eugene Lee Yang, and Ned Fulmer, left in 2018 to start their own company, 2nd Try.

The group faced controversy in 2022 when Ned Fulmer was removed for infidelity, but continued creating content as a trio.

Eugene clarified that his decision to leave was due to his overwhelming workload and desire to pursue other projects, not any issues with the team or fans.

He expressed gratitude to his collaborators and fans, emphasizing their positive impact on his journey.

Although Eugene plans occasional guest appearances, his departure is a "clean break" for his mental health.

Yang shared excitement about upcoming projects, including his directorial debut, a debut novel, and a graphic novel series, with his book set to release in 2025.

While fans may be saddened by Lee’s departure, he is enthusiastic about following his dreams and looks forward to future reunions with joy.
