Prince William has hinted at Prince George's potential career path and the occupation he might pursue before assuming the role of King.

Despite being second in line to the throne after his father, the Prince of Wales, Prince George's future as a monarch seems secure, but Prince William disclosed a potential interim profession for the 10-year-old during a Buckingham Palace garden party.

Braving inclement weather to welcome community leaders, Prince William, holding a large umbrella, conversed with Reverend Squadron Leader Chrissie Lacey about her "cookie ministry," The Mirror reports.

According to The Mirror, the Prince of Wales then revealed that Prince George has aspirations of becoming a pilot, indicating his interest in aviation.

This interest was previously observed during a family trip to Germany and Poland in 2017, where Prince George displayed excitement about helicopters.

"George was excited, with the first helicopter he wanted to sit in the cockpit, and then he wanted to sit in the next one, he already knew there was a difference between them," Antoine van Gent, who was present, revealed to the Telegraph.

Prince William, drawing from his own experience as a former air ambulance pilot, shared his knowledge with Prince George, even allowing him to try on a helmet.

Prince William himself obtained qualifications as a Search and Rescue pilot in the RAF and served with the East Anglia Air Ambulance, while his brother Prince Harry served as an Apache helicopter pilot during his military service in Afghanistan.
