Ye, aka Kanye West recently unveiled the design of his highly limited edition Cybertruck, but fans were not impressed.
Known for his controversial decisions, such as wearing skin-tight leggings and making antisemitic remarks, Ye has nonetheless been admired for his successful Yeezy fashion line.
A video surfaced online this week showcasing the Yeezy Cybertruck's design, which features an all-black, futuristic look with straight lines forming a pyramid-like point at the top and a Knight Rider-esque brake light at the rear.
Only three vehicles have been produced and reportedly cost $1.2 million USD.
Fans quickly criticized the design, making unflattering comparisons to outdated technology.
Comments included, "Pull up in that computer mouse," and "This dude is driving a DVD player." Another remarked, "This is why God doesn’t talk to us anymore," referencing West's recent return to Christianity.
Some reactions were less critical, with one commenter noting, "We got a f*ckin Yeezy Tesla before GTA 6," and another suggesting it "would be fire for the PS6."
The design's road legality and practicality, especially with license plates, remain in question.
West, who has been ostracized by mainstream media for his antisemitic remarks, faced additional scrutiny last year for adopting barely-there leggings, causing even his loyal fans to question his choices.
