The Try Guys are making significant changes to their brand and content distribution. The group announced that Eugene Lee Yang will be leaving after the end of the year to pursue other projects. The remaining members, Zach Kornfeld and Keith Habersberger, revealed their new venture, a subscription-based streaming service named 2nd Try.

The departure of Yang marks the second major change for the group, following Ned Fulmer's exit in 2022 due to a cheating scandal. While Kornfeld and Habersberger expressed their excitement for Yang's future endeavours, they acknowledged the bittersweet nature of his departure.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Kornfeld stated, "Part of this is bittersweet. We're gonna miss working with Eugene. He has been one of the true collaborators of both of our lives. But we've had a long time to process this."

Habersberger emphasised that "things change" and viewed Yang's departure as necessary for the group to progress. He compared the current situation to the previous departure of Fulmer, stating, "THE TRY GUYS' original cast already came to an end once. But now it's sort of getting a better finite ending."

2nd Try, the group's new streaming service, aims to provide a more direct connection with their audience. The platform promises ad-free, uncensored, and exclusive content. The subscription fee is $4.99 per month, and the service offers early access to both old favourites and new releases.

Kornfeld and Habersberger expressed their enthusiasm for the future, emphasising the freedom and creative control that comes with their own platform. Kornfeld stated, "I think what excites us is that we now get to treat YouTube and any other social media platform as just that, a social media platform, where we are using it to reach new people and excite them as opposed to entirely relying on our ability to survive as a business on them and their ad dollars."

The Try Guys plan to expand their cast and collaborate with new creators in the future. In the meantime, they are focused on building their new platform and providing their audience with the content they desire.
