This marks the second time the PTI leader has been hospitalised. Last month, she was shifted to the hospital after experiencing a cough and throat discomfort.

According to media reports, Dr Rashid underwent checkups in the Pulmonology and Medicine Departments of the hospital. Following these assessments and the prescription of various medications, doctors transferred her back to Kot Lakhpat Jail.

The former Punjab health minister was arrested last year in connection with an attack and arson at Jinnah House in Lahore on May 9.
