Eminem stirred social media on Tuesday by sharing a cryptic post teasing his new album.
Fans are speculating whether the unusual clip suggests Slim Shady's 12th studio album might also be his final one.
The 15-time Grammy winner posted a mysterious video on his X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts, showing an open iMessage chat dated Friday, May 31 at 12am.
The blurred message, addressed to 'All Contacts,' eventually became clear, reading: “...and for my last trick!”
In April, Eminem announced his 12th studio album, titled The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) without specifying an exact date.
This album will be his first since Music to be Murdered By, which was released unexpectedly in January 2020, shortly before the COVID-19 lockdown.
Fans are now speculating that the strange clip might hint at the release date of a single or the entire album.
Taking to X, fans have been divided, with some concerned that the wording indicates this could be his final album.
However, other fans believe the post might reference Eminem's character Jimmy 'B-Rabbit' Smith from 8 Mile, suggesting a new chapter for the artist is approaching.
