Embezzlement Charges: FIA arrests utility store in-charge

FIA officials booked a USC store in-charge on Tuesday for allegedly misappropriating Rs3.6 million.

HARIPUR: Federal Investigation Agency officials booked a Utility Store Corporation (USC) store in-charge on Tuesday for allegedly misappropriating Rs3.6 million. The man was shifted to the FIA lockup in Abbottabad for further investigation. Police and FIA sources revealed that following a USC internal audit, Abid, the Khanpur Utility Store in-charge was found guilty of misappropriating Rs3.6 million from daily sales. FIA and USC officials conducted an inquiry on the written complaint of USC Regional Manager Imran Ali. Following this, the store in charge was arrested from Khanpur on Tuesday.
