Ryan Sutter took to Instagram to address concerns about his wife Trista's recent absence, assuring fans that despite the challenges, they are doing "great" as a couple.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, May 18, accompanied by a black-and-white outdoor photo of himself, Ryan shared insights into their current situation.

"Trista is fine. We are fine. We’re great," wrote Ryan in the post. He explained that Trista is currently in a phase of self-discovery and has taken an opportunity that requires her to be temporarily inaccessible to their family.

Expressing his longing for Trista, Ryan acknowledged missing her presence and the opportunity to connect with her. This emotional revelation comes shortly after Ryan shared another message on Instagram, expressing his desire to speak with Trista and hear her voice.

While Ryan did not disclose Trista's exact whereabouts, he emphasized that his posts were not meant to deceive or mislead anyone, but rather to share his genuine feelings.

The couple, who met on the inaugural season of The Bachelorette in 2003 and tied the knot later that year, recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. They share two children, Maxwell, 16, and Blakesley, 14.

Ryan's recent Instagram updates come after a series of posts for Mother's Day, during which he expressed admiration for Trista and acknowledged her absence on the special day. Trista also commented on one of the posts with emojis.

The couple's last public appearance together was in January at the Golden Bachelor wedding of Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist.
