KARACHI:
The three men arrested for the murder of Barrister Murtaza Chinoy have confessed in court. Navid June Bhatti, and brothers Zahid and Sajid Ahmed were presented before the Judicial Magistrate South Mashooq Ali Palejo on Tuesday. The public prosecutor presented Chinoy’s laptop to the court and it was identified by his cousin, Salman Sharif. Zahid Ahmed said in his statement that Navid June Bhatti and a Farooq, who was an employee in the lawyer’s office, plotted the murder. When the lawyer resisted the robbery Zahid opened fire, resulting in his death.
