Fans eager to see Blake Lively reunite with husband Ryan Reynolds on screen in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ might be out of luck.

Recent rumors suggest Lively won't be portraying the highly anticipated character of Lady Deadpool in the upcoming Marvel film.

The speculation surrounding Lady Deadpool's appearance began with reports of a potential introduction for the character, an alternate universe version of Wade Wilson (Deadpool).

Fans quickly rallied behind the idea of Blake Lively taking on the role, hoping for a dynamic on-screen pairing with Reynolds.

However, a recent update from MCU insider @MyTimeToShineH seemingly dashed those hopes, indicating Lively won't be cast as Lady Deadpool.

Disappointment over Lively's potential absence has been further fueled by rumors suggesting singer-songwriter Taylor Swift might be in the running for the role.

Social media has been buzzing with speculation ever since Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld posted an image of Swift dressed as the character, leading fans to believe it might be a hint towards casting.

While the prospect of Swift's involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has long been a topic of discussion, this recent development has ignited a firestorm of reactions.

Some fans are intrigued by the possibility of Swift portraying the witty and action-oriented Lady Deadpool, while others remain skeptical about the casting choice.

It's crucial to remember that at this point, these are all rumors and speculation. Marvel Studios has yet to confirm any casting details for the characters of Lady Deadpool or any other potential additions to the "Deadpool & Wolverine" film.

With the release date set for July 26, 2024, fans will have to wait and see how the casting unfolds for this highly anticipated superhero movie.

One thing is certain: The speculation surrounding Lady Deadpool and the potential involvement of both Blake Lively and Taylor Swift has certainly generated significant buzz for the project.
