Supermodel Cindy Crawford, 58, has revealed her struggles with "survivor guilt" following the tragic death of her brother from leukemia at age 3, in a recent episode of the "Kelly Corrigan Wonders" podcast.
Speaking openly about her childhood memories, Cindy discussed her father's desire for a son before her late brother Jeffrey's arrival, expressing feelings of guilt among her siblings.
"There's like that survivor guilt of the other kids and especially because we knew that my dad really wanted a boy," Cindy shared.
Reflecting on years of shared nightmares among her sisters, Cindy described the emotional toll of feeling like it should have been one of them who passed away.
She also highlighted the recent insights gained through therapy, acknowledging the need for validation and support during difficult times.
"Through COVID, I actually had time to do real work, and I realised... I needed to hear, 'Yes, we're so sad that Jeff has died, but we're so happy you are here,'" Cindy shared.
