Two children were injured in shooting during an altercation over a dispute between unknown people.
Police sources that one of the men involved in an altercation pulled out a pistol and fired at a passer-by, resulting in the bullets hitting the children.
The victims identified as Mohammad Naveed and Mujahid were stated to be in their teens, and residents of the same area.
The men involved in the incident escaped from the scene. The police said they had constituted teams to arrest the fleeing men. The police registered the FIR on the report of the father of one of the victims
Meanwhile, Shah Jamal police found the body of a youngster who had gone missing last month from his aunt's house and arrested the suspected murderer.
According to police sources, 18-year-old Mohsin had gone missing 35 days ago from Shah Jamal suburb of Muzaffargarh.
The police had registered a case on the complaint of the father of the youth.
It was revealed during interrogation that the youth had allegedly been strangled to death by his cousin Imran and buried in the yard of his house.
The police retrieved the body and arrested the suspect.
According to an official, the victim allegedly wanted to marry the wife of the suspect.
