Tom Brady’s Netflix roast, star takes the heat with grace

Kevin Hart and others did not hold back on jokes about Brady's retirement and divorce from Gisele Bündchen.

Tom Brady, 46, proved his good humour during a roast as part of Netflix's live special, "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady." 

The retired NFL legend took plenty of shots from friends, former teammates, and comedians, including host Kevin Hart.

Hart wasted no time going after Brady for his short-lived "unretirement" and unsuccessful final season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He even targeted Brady's divorce from Gisele Bündchen.
 

"You know who also f---ed their coach? Gisele, she f---ed her karate coach," Hart joked, prompting a visibly uncomfortable Brady to raise his glass and drink.

Other notable roasters included former teammate Drew Bledsoe, who Brady replaced on the Patriots in 2001, and comedian Nikki Glaser. They all brought up Brady's divorce in their sets.

Brady also faced jokes about his failed crypto commercials, his history with the New York Giants, and even his looks from Kim Kardashian.

The event was part of the Netflix Is a Joke festival. Brady officially retired from the NFL for a second time in February 2023, after an emotional social media post announcing his decision.
