Singer-songwriter Dua Lipa graced the stage of "Saturday Night Live" once again, but this time, she took on a new role – that of both guest host and musical performer.

Known for her chart-topping hits, Lipa showcased her versatility and comedic chops throughout the evening.

The episode, devoid of gimmicks or excessive cameos, allowed Lipa to shine in her own right.

With the exception of a surprise appearance by comedy legend Jerry Seinfeld during "Weekend Update," and a musical introduction by actor and musician Troye Sivan, Lipa was given free rein to captivate the audience.

As the musical guest, Lipa treated viewers to electrifying performances of "Illusion," introduced by Sivan, and "Happy For You," introduced by Seinfeld.

During her monologue, Lipa, humorously embracing her nickname "Dula Peep," introduced her parents in the audience, revealing the origins of her name and its meaning.

She shared anecdotes about her parents' partying antics, including a humorous encounter at a London club.

Promoting her new album "Radical Optimism," Lipa offered sage advice to audience members facing tough situations, injecting her trademark humor into the mix.

With her infectious energy, she promised to deliver an unforgettable show, promising to "give you everything" she's got.”

In one sketch titled "Good Morning, Greenville," Lipa portrayed a piano teacher attempting to decipher the escalating feud between rappers Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

The comedic segment hilariously highlighted the hosts' cluelessness about the situation, with Lipa's character offering misguided interpretations of the diss tracks.

With her stellar comedic timing and magnetic presence, Lipa proved that she's not only a powerhouse performer but also a capable host. Her debut as both host and musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" left audiences entertained and eager for more.
