Britney Spears’ friends are expressing concerns for the pop icon's well-being following a reported altercation with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, at the Chateau Marmont.

According to Page Six, Soliz, one friend described Soliz as “bad news from the start,” with another calling him “extremely dangerous.”

Photos depicting Spears visibly distressed outside the hotel alongside Soliz sparked concerns, prompting a 911 call reporting an injury.

Later, Spears posted on Instagram, stating that the “news” of the altercation was “fake.” She added that she had simply “twisted her ankle” and was “harassed” by paramedics.

The singer ended her post by mentioning that she was moving to Boston.

The relationship first made headlines in August 2023, amidst Spears’ divorce proceedings with her third husband, Sam Asghari.

Soliz previously served as a housekeeper at Spears’ residence but faced termination after his criminal record – including a felony possession of a firearm conviction in 2022 – was brought to light.

Despite this, Spears continued to see Soliz romantically, leading to the recent altercation at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

This alarming event follows Spears' recent legal battles, including the termination of her conservatorship in November 2021 and a settlement with her estranged father, Jamie Spears, last week, avoiding a trial.
