Prince William and Kate Middleton will observe their 13th wedding anniversary while the Princess of Wales undergoes treatment for cancer.

The royal couple are expected to have a private celebration due to Kate Middleton's health.

Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News: “They will undoubtedly be celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary privately.

“This year will be very different from previous years as Catherine is undergoing preventative chemotherapy after recovering from abdominal surgery.”

Prince William wed his long-term partner, Kate Middleton, at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.

Fitzwilliams continued: “This is clearly a marriage of like minds as the years have shown.

“They are focused on parenthood with its ups and downs and ensuring their children grow up in as normal a way as possible.”

Previously, William and Kate have celebrated the occasion by sharing a video or photo featuring their family.

Fitzwilliams explained: “On their 10th wedding anniversary, they shared a delightful family video, last year it was a happy photograph of them riding bicycles together.

“The princess has appealed for time, space and privacy at this difficult time and there is unlikely to be a public commemoration of any kind.”

In 2001, William and Kate met as students at St. Andrews University and began dating during their time there. They eventually married in 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London.
